Work in the dipiù Spa. This means relaxation – not only for our guests ♥️Estimated reading time: 3 minutes
This guarantees fun, variety, and real teamwork. Almost like a second home. What drives us employees is to guarantee the guest a distinctive stay. Work with us.
But let’s start again.
Do you know what the term Spa stands for? Spa originally comes from Latin and is the abbreviation for “sanus per aquam”, translated it means “health through water”. Of course, our dipiù spa is about much more than water: prevention, maintaining health, getting out of the daily routine, holistic relaxation for body, mind, and soul, rejuvenation, purification, and holistic beauty from the inside and outside – these are the many topics we deal with. Just feel good all around and enjoy with all senses. So as a guest it is pure relaxation.
But what is it like to work in our dipiù hotel spa in St. Moritz or on Lake Maggiore? Find out here!
The daily work routine of us spa employees could look like this, for example, we start the morning with a stimulating yoga session. This not only gets the body and mind of the guests going but also that of the therapist.
Afterward, we continue with, for example, a cupping massage that stimulates blood circulation or relaxing Ayurvedic treatment. We are happy if our guests feel well and if we can help them with our consultations. We take care of appointments and reservations, advise on the perfect treatment. Cleanliness is of course very important – so we control the observance of hygiene and cleanliness standards in the whole spa area.
In the afternoon (depending on the guest), body wraps or classic massages, or even a private meditation session may be on the program. Every day is different because we perform different treatments and yoga sessions every day. And yet, the relaxation of our guests also transfers to us, which makes working very pleasant.
In dipiù Spa, there are various fields of work: Cosmetics, massage, Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, sports, guest consulting as well as administrative work.
Spa therapists usually have completed training in the beauty or wellness area. They have a diploma as a beautician or masseur and have undergone further training in other areas such as yoga, coaching, or sports. Ideally, spa therapists have a good command of foreign languages, as they come into contact with international guests. Flexibility, a cheerful and open-minded nature, very good manners, and a well-groomed appearance are a matter of course for spa employees.
We as spa therapists appreciate the variety, working in a team, the contact, and communication with international guests. The open atmosphere and the opportunity to learn new skills and make new friends. At the spa, every day is different and brings new challenges.
