The cosmetics line and signature treatments for the Giardino Hotels were developed by Daniela Frutiger in collaboration with qualified dermatologists and Ticino vintner Meinrad C. Tips for a perfect day at a dipiù Spa

Before your stay

Book your treatment in advance. Arrange a consultation to put together a customized program. Please notify us as soon as possible if you are running late. Depending on the delay, the treatment period will be shortened accordingly. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance; full payment will be due for no-shows and cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.

During your stay

Bathrobes, slippers and towels as well as shower gel, shampoo and hairdryers are all provided in the dipiù Spa or your hotel room. For a relaxing start, we recommend arriving ten minutes before the treatment is due to begin. The therapist must be informed about high blood pressure, cardiac conditions, allergies, diabetes, pregnancy or recent operations.

Using the sauna

For safety reasons and out of respect for other spa guests who want to relax, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the gym or sauna areas. For hygiene reasons as well as your own personal comfort, clothes are not to be worn in the sauna cabins, but please use a towel.

Thai Massage

Using body weight, the therapist treats the ten main energy lines of the body. The heels of the hands, thumbs, feet, elbows and knees are used. The targeted massage, as well as rhythmic and flowing stimulation of the individual points, can remove energy blockages. In addition, a Thai massage can have a positive effect on pain. The Thai massage is done on a futon. Please wear comfortable and light clothing.

Zoner Anti-Aging Trilogy

The Zoner Anti-Aging Trilogy combines Biostimcell, Mesoporation and Radiolift to provide effective anti-aging treatments for the face and body with long-lasting results. The treatment is very pleasant and free of side effects and is one of the best devices in modern cosmetic technology. The aim of the treatment is to prevent skin aging and maintain or renew its condition depending on the age of the skin. The results are a youthful radiant complexion, significant tightening and plumping of the skin, a healthier complexion, refined pores, reduction of wrinkles and the tightening of sagging skin on the body.

Ayurvedic treatments have a balancing effect on the body and mind, naturally restoring your sense of well-being.

Abhyanga

Several massage techniques are employed in this whole-body oil massage. Abhyanga has a rejuvenating effect on tissue and organs, improves lymph flow and thereby strengthens the immune system.

Kalari Marma

A deep-tissue whole-body massage in which the Marma points are stimulated manually with a positive effect. Marma points are locatable energy points on the matrix of the human body.

Pinda Sveda

This herbal compress massage stimulates the metabolism and has a detoxifying, relaxing effect.

Mukabhyanga

Extremely soothing oil massage for the head, face and upper body. The gentle strokes with warm oil have a balancing effect on the nervous system.

Udvartana

A stimulating massage with herbal powder that improves lymph flow and renews and tones the skin.

Pristabhyanga

All the back, shoulder and neck muscles are massaged with flowing movements. A lepa herbal compress to finish helps to relieve hardening and release blockages.

Shiroabhyanga

Padabhyanga

Ayurveda Natalis

This gentle massage for pregnant women harmonises hormonal changes and helps to prevent stretch marks. Recommended from the fourth month.

Lepas

As a full body heat pack, a lepa herbal compress stimulates the lymph flow and improves the circulation. It strength ens the tissue’s meta-bolism to enable the expulsion of toxins and excess fluids.

The sound is calming, eliminates blockages, encourages concentration and facilitates deep relaxation of the body and mind.

Kati-Basti

Kati-Basti is a long-lasting oil treatment that can be successfully employed on the entire back area in the event of back pain, muscle hardening and degenerative spinal conditions. Only after consultation with an Ayurveda specialist.

Shirodhara (pouring oil over the forehead)
