The Executive Chef

Francesco Leone’s passion for cooking began early with the aroma of freshly baked bread and festive Sunday meals with his family. These experiences shaped his later career in the culinary world. Inspired by master chefs like Gualtiero Marchesi, he overcame challenges and achieved success in renowned hotels. As the Head Chef at the Boutique Hotel Giardino Lago, he enjoyed significant success, thanks to his flair for Mediterranean delicacies and classic French cuisine. Since the winter season of 2023/24, he has taken on the role of Executive Chef for the Giardino Mountain and Giardino Ascona hotels. With his dynamic team, he not only shares experiences but also a deep passion for cooking. Thus, Francesco Leone continues to craft an inspiring tale of culinary innovation and creativity.
