The ARMÒNIA Yoga Festival brings yoga, mindfulness and holistic well-being to Ascona. For one day, the focus is on movement, meditation and a conscious lifestyle – embedded in the natural surroundings of the newly designed Bagno Pubblico.

05.08. – 15.08.26 – Locarno Filmfestival
Every summer, Switzerland’s most important film festival transforms Locarno into a meeting place for filmmakers and film fans from all over the world. The centerpiece is the Piazza Grande – probably the most beautiful open-air cinema in Europe.
In addition to competition films in various categories, the festival offers a broad supporting program in cinemas, forums and throughout the city. In the evenings, the “Rotonda” provides a festival atmosphere with concerts, art, a children’s program and street food.

The CSI Ascona, one of the most prestigious international show jumping tournaments, is returning again this year. At Ascona’s former airport, the best riders in the world go head to head in exciting show jumping competitions.
