Gallery Hauser & Wirth
Gallery Hauser & Wirth St. Moritz occupies the premises of the Palace Gallery in the center of St. Moritz. The 4’400 square meters of exhibition space extend over three floors.
St. Moritz has long been an enclave of creativity. The surrounding area was the home of the Giacometti family and the Alpine painter Giovanni Segantini. Over the last two centuries, a number of cultural and intellectual personalities have visited and been inspired by the Upper Engadine, from the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and the writer Thomas Mann to a multitude of artists such as Gerhard Richter, Julian Schnabel, Richard Long, and Joseph Beuys.
