For our Soul Retreat Giardino Ascona in Ticino we are looking to fill the following position, starting approx. from April 2025 :

Bar Manager

You are responsible for the smooth running of the bar. The guests appreciate your courteous and competent manner and like to be surprised and inspired by your recommendations. Furthermore, you support your teammates to the best of your ability, create the duty rosters in cooperation with the restaurant manager and organize staff training.

  • Completed vocational training in the gastronomy/hotel industry as well as further training in the bar area and management experience
  • Sound knowledge of products, cocktails, and spirits
  • A cordial and competent guest service, “passionate host”
  • Independence, reliability, and sense of duty
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and enthusiasm
  • Respectful interaction with colleagues and superiors
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Knowledge of Italian is an advantage
