In the four large ski areas Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb, and Zuoz, as well as five smaller areas, skiers, and snowboarders can enjoy a total of 88 fantastic pistes covering around 350 kilometers. Enthusiastic winter sports enthusiasts will therefore get their money’s worth. A free ski shuttle will take you and your partner on request from Giardino Mountain to the ski lift Chasellas (Suvretta area) or to the mountain railroad Corvatsch. In addition, you also have the chance to cross-country ski through the Engadine winter wonderland on 230 kilometers of trails. Whether over frozen lakes or snow-covered forests is entirely up to you. The advantage of this is that you can start right at the gates of Giardino Mountain, without having to queue or take the lift.

The possibilities are not yet completely exhausted. You can explore the wintry landscape by sledding and tobogganing, on a snowshoe hike, or snowkiting. Another very popular and romantic idea is skating on the Engadine Ice Trail, a 3 km long circular trail that leads through the forests of the Lower Engadine. Or Ice Trail Madulain, probably the most beautiful ice trail in the Engadin. This one is also about 3 km long and leads you from Madulain through the wonderful alluvial landscape along the banks of the river Inn to Zuoz. Together hand in hand you can enjoy the light play of the river and the view of the historic village center. Other options are on the frozen lakes, such as Lake St. Moritz, or the Lej da Champfèr. This is particularly romantic as in the evening, weather permitting, the surroundings are bathed in an orange, pink evening light. In addition, the full moon rises in a few days after Valentine’s Day, so the moon will already create a thoroughly romantic atmosphere.

You want to spend a lot of time together and be very close to each other? Then the Preda Bergün toboggan run is just the thing for you. The toboggan run Bergün is one of the most popular toboggan runs in Europe with its length of several kilometers and its winding route. No wonder that every year countless tobogganing fans and adrenaline junkies from all over the world make a pilgrimage to Bergün. The fun already starts with the train ride on the Rhaetian Railway from Bergün to Preda. The journey takes you over majestic bridges, through deep valleys, and past high cliffs to the sledding fun in Preda. We think that on Valentine’s Day a tobogganing fun should not be missing! Our tip: After a long toboggan ride, treat yourself to the fine homemade cheese fondue, prepared over a glowing fire in Bergün.
