“Giardino Mountain Spritz”

Giardino feeling for your home? No problem! With our recipe of the month, the “Giardino Mountain Spritz” from our bar lounge of Giardino Mountain in Champfèr, you can easily remember the great moments of your stay at Giardino Mountain with a cocktail at home, or get in the mood for the upcoming stay. Here is the whole recipe for easy reproduction:
Ingredients (for 1 glass)
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 2 cl Cynar
- 2 cl Crème de Cassis
- 1 dl Prosecco
- 2 cl Soda
- One orange slice
Preparation
- First, fill the glass, with 2-3 ice cubes, as you wish.
- Then add the 2 cl Cynar, 2 cl Crème de Cassis in the glass. One by one, carefully fill this up with a 1dl Prosecco and 2 cl soda. Then stir the whole thing well once.
- Last but not least, add a slice of fresh orange to the glass.
- Et voilà! The “Giardino Mountain Spritz” is ready. Now it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy the Giardino feeling at home. Saluti!
Things to know
Cynar is an Italian liqueur, with a red-brown color. Cynar is made from artichokes and has a slightly bitter, sweetish taste. Due to the content of artichoke ingredients (cynarin), it has a beneficial effect on digestion. It can also be drunk pure or as a long drink, for example with soda, tonic water, or cola.
The Crème de Cassis is a French liqueur, with dark red color. This is based on the word “cassis”, which comes from the French and translated means “black currant”. Therefore, the taste of the liqueur goes in a sweet and also slightly bitter direction.
